Roanoke to NY

Our first stop in NYC was to pick up Tanners Booties they lasted

not longer than 10 minutes though what a blast watching her in them.

Before we hit NYC we drove from Roanoke, VA from Nashville - stayed there, and woke to the biggest snow storm in the Northeast in the last 4 years. Well we got on the road and headed out on 81...inland...compared to 95 which got blasted. We felt so fortunate to have dry roads and just a bit of a snarl up on route 78 in PA/NJ. We pulled into Manhattan, "The City" as Gilles is adamant in calling it, at 10:00 at night. The Affinia which is mid-town was a perfect spot to reach Gilles Mom downtown, and my sis uptown. SOOO very amazing to wake up, head down to the gym
and find a LINE, I mean a LINE of people all the way out the hotel of people looking for a JOB. One of the many Job Fairs that are now running rampant thru the country. The feeling of gratitude was incredible, as we walked through the line to go to the gym, knowing the type of flexibility and success that is experienced in our business. We worked our business all day from the comfort of our hotel room and again felt a sense of pure joy and gratitude to have chosen this life and opportunity. Later that day we went to the jewelry district to see Rob, a boy (back when I went to highschool he was a boy). We found eachother on facebook and low and behold he is in the gem business. Just amazing that both contacts, once I put it out there and made the design, came to me thru facebook and I am NOW manifesting the entire line!!! YES we LOVE and EXPECT life to work that way! How awesome for the collection of inspirational jewelry I intend to create as well as all the goals we have in our lives. Now have my first piece out and second on the way.

We made it out to Queens with the ultimate NY deli in hand and had some lunch with The Bean parents on Wednesday. Dad at 87 is really living to his best ability and Mom is at her best as well. Gilles and I arrived back at the hotel and packed to leave for NJ to experience the Harmonic Wealth Weekend with James Arthur Ray from the Movie The Secret. Packing is always an adventure when traveling for 30 days..it takes a bit of time and ingenuity in re-packing the car, Gilles forte. Gilles, on this day, and I got to visit his mom downtown. Tanner had sometime with Lucky, Thea (Gilles mom's dog) we shopped with her, and Gilles stayed with his Mom to attend a fabulous GO GO benefit event at his old elementary school in THE CITY - Grace Church School. He had an absolute blast, I think more so looking at all the girls in their short go-go shorts - LOL. I was off to see my sister and acclamate Tanner who will be staying with her through our trip to Mexico. When we pulled into the Westin that night we were pleasantly suprised with the accomodations and how puppy friendly they were.No photos from the event, though one with the view behind us from Jersey City after the event on our way to Tinton Falls after 32 hours of incredible life altering info from James Arthur Ray. Author and Speaker, best know for his input in the Movie The Secret and best selling author for his book Harmonic Wealth. We spent last night in Tinton Falls, got there late PM and Tanner then fell in love. This photo to be seen from Gilles I-Phone. OH my - a 80 pound adorable Mutt named Milo. To watch them play was just amazing. Milo's entire mouth would hold Tanners head. Some rough play here and there, though overall both were almost in tears whining as they said goodbye. Gilles and I then went into NYC to drop Tanner at my sisters and her husband. Auntie Deb and Uncle Sandy will be her surrogate thru Saturday night. We had fabulous Chinese food at a place called Nanci's Pig Heaven. All I know is with a name like this, it reminded me of being back in Nashville. The ribs were top-notch and the moo-shu - awesome. Tanner had her goodbye walk with us and we were off. We hope by Saturday night the surrogates will be just as thrilled as they were tonight to take care of T ;-) We leave very early AM...so signing off for now and more from Mexico soon.
